Internalisasi Nilai Aswaja dan Karakter Anak Usia Dini melalui Pembelajaran Kokurikuler Berbasis Kearifan Lokal
Abstract
This study explores the internalization of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) values and early childhood character building through local wisdom-based co-curricular learning within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. Facing the challenge of moral and cultural degradation due to global technological transformation, early childhood education requires pedagogical strategies that blend religious spirituality with contextual local heritage. Employing a qualitative case study research design, data were gathered over six months using multi-site observations, in-depth interviews with institutional leaders and early childhood educators, and comprehensive document analysis of educational modules, portfolios, and anecdotal records. The findings demonstrate that the internalization process occurs across three structured operational phases: collaborative curriculum design integrating Aswaja principles (tawassuth, tasamuh, tawazun, i'tidal) into agricultural and historical themes; experiential learning implementation through hands-on farming, cultural pilgrimages, and daily religious habits; and authentic continuous evaluation using observational rubrics, reflective journals, and developmental portfolios. Quantitative progress tracking reveals significant growth in children's independence, religious devotion, and cultural pride. This study concludes that contextual co-curricular activities serve as a powerful pedagogical bridge to nurture early childhood character rooted in Islamic moderation and local identity.
