Implementation of The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at MI NU Nurul Haq Kudus

Abstract


This study aims to describe the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in the Merdeka curriculum, the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, and the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project at MI NU Nurul Haq Prangkat Kidul Kaliwungu Kudus. This type of research uses a qualitative method. This type of research includes field research with a research approach using a qualitative approach, and using a case study strategy with a descriptive type. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. For data collection using interviews, observation and documentation techniques. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques which include source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. Then, for data analysis using 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion/verification. The results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) has been applied to class IV at MI NU Nurul Haq Prangkat Kidul Kaliwungu Kudus. First, MI Nurul Nurul Haq has implemented the independent curriculum in grades I and IV starting from the 2023/2024 academic year and is included in the group of implementing the independent curriculum in the early stages. Second, the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) at MI NU Nurul Haq has implemented two themes, namely the theme of sustainable living and the theme of entrepreneurship. The implementation of the sustainable living theme by making pencil cases from used bottles and decorated with flannel cloth. Third, there are supporting factors in the implementation of P5, namely encouragement from the madrasah, teaching modules provided by the government, the solidarity of educators, the enthusiasm of students and fairly easy facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are difficulties in determining topics, administration in each project carried out, time management, and students who experience difficulties in implementing the project. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project can provide new experiences for educators and students and make the implementation of the learning process more enjoyable
